What made you decide to get into real estate?

When I bought my first home in my 3rd-year university I knew Real Estate was the career for me. I love investing and the "Art of the Deal". It's the largest purchase most people will make in their lifetime and I love to help them through the process. I also believe Real Estate is the best type of investment you can make. I want to create opportunities & help others reach financial freedom.

Why do you love working in real estate?

I love working in Real Estate because I feel I can really help people through a very uncertain time of making a huge purchase. I also, love being creative for deals and learning something new every time. The marketing is my favourite.

What part of the process makes you feel the most accomplished/happy?

I'll be honest here and say that when I steer my clients away from a home (within reason) I feel accomplished. Sounds counter-intuitive but I am not a salesperson trying to chase a paycheck. This doesn't really make sense so I will give you an example. I had a client who was looking for a home and we ended up putting in an offer. We went through a home inspection and they got financing but I could just tell there was something wrong. I double checked, triple checked and found out that they would not have been super happy with their decision so I told them we should call it off. After this happened they thanked me because they felt stuck and didn't want to disappoint the other people, including myself, that were part of the deal. Doing that made me feel way better than making the sale.

Which location are you an expert in, and why?

I am an expert in Southend, Laurentian, Lo-Ellen, Algonquin and Lively areas. That is where I do most of my business and I grew up in these areas. Walked, played and skateboarded in all these neighbourhoods. I know them like the back of my hand. I also do business anywhere else in Sudbury.

What can we find you doing in your spare time?

In my spare time, I love to play basketball. I play almost every day! I also like going camping/hiking and spending time with friends debating over anything.
